Meet Our Family!

Hi, I'm Makinna. I've spent the last 15 years working with and around kiddos. As a licensed teacher, I never met a party, holiday, or "teacher appreciation week" I didn't want to go all out for.

About three years ago, I started dreaming about turning that love of celebrating into something more. This year, I finally took the leap and started The Pink Pig & Co.

I'm married to my husband, James, who has been endlessly supportive through this whole journey. We have two sons, Karson and Dax, who keep us on our toes. Our house is home to one bunny, Cornerstone Popcorn, and one good dog, Miya. Our sweet Maybell went over the rainbow bridge in May after 14 years - she is very much missed.

This business is a family thing for us. I love helping families create fun, memorable moments... birthdays, school events, backyard get-togethers, anything worth celebrating, really. Right now we're focused on yard games rentals and tote rentals, but who knows what fun additions the future holds.
